From the day I moved to Pittsburgh I sought out activities that pique my interest in the traditional arts. Somehow i came across the ridiculous notion that I would begin to paint…something I never do but have always wanted to do. With this thought in mind, I went to an event called Visual Speaks Volumes at an art gallery called Future Tenant.

This was the first time I painted in front of people, while live music played, with other painters, on a non-traditional canvas.
